About this project
This project served as the driving force and underlying strategy for all talent development efforts.
Through strong focus on andragogy and the pillars of Adult Learning Theory, the performance management/development process, "Vital Development" brought, relevance, motivation, and meaning to the organizations learning offers and served as the "golden thread" in creating and driving a culture of constant growth and development.
This program contained quarterly development programming for managers and direct reports to continue to focus on individual development based on the personal Performance Goals, Development Goals, and ESG Goals along with specific skill development plans laid out at the start of the year.
In addition, all elements of the process were embedded within our LXP/Company Intranet where employees were able to track goals, CPD hours, and performance conversations.
Within this program, we were also able to focus on different elements of company-specified manager development learning objectives. Each quarter focused on different skill areas represented within the organization's "Leadership Skills Model" (see skills models below) providing both instructional and experiential learning opportunities for our manager's ongoing growth as leaders.
