Trust the Wait.

Filled with thankfulness as I glance back at the journey that has brought me to now. I never could have planned it. Nor could I have imagined it. But what a beautiful mess it has been in the years I’ve called these hills my HOME.
How much longer I have here and what comes next continues to be uncertain. But if it’s anything like the uncertainty that’s made these past years possible, then I’d say I’m exactly where I need to be.
One of my high school Young Life girls who is graduating this year asked… how do we know which step is the right step. And if I’ve learned anything over these last years of life… it’s that we don’t.
Our trust can never be placed in the hope of the “right step”. However, our trust ought to be placed in the hope that we have a God who brings purpose out of every step of life… whatever we choose… wherever we go… and however messy it may all be.
Thankful for the beautiful mess behind me and excited for the beautiful mess ahead.
