Authenticity: Some Days Life is Joyful & Others, it's a Real Beach
When joy is a habit, love is a reflex.
There are days where the sun shines brightly and joy as easy. And then there are days where life is a real beach.
I never want to create the illusion that my life is perfect. Because, sadly, that's what social media can so easily perpetuate. We throw on the right filter and caption to create a false sense of reality for the person on the other side of the screen.
But the truth is... Everyday, I'm in my head. Everyday, I battle insecurity. Everyday, I have boring moments. Everyday, I speak to quickly. Everyday, I compare. Everyday, I seek fulfillment in empty places. But, everyday, I learn.
My deepest prayer for you is that you seek true fulfillment. Unedited. Real. Raw. Authentic. And, quite often, messy.
And the crazy thing is... that's my deepest prayer for myself as well... because God knows, I struggle with that everyday.
